OUR QUOTING PROCESS

Negotiated Contract / Open Book Tender

  1. Costs of subcontractors and suppliers
  2. A margin payable to Broadbelt Builders Ltd on materials and subcontractors
  3. A fee for supervision and construction administration of the project
  4. A contingency sum is provided for to cover any additional/unforeseen costs
  5. Broadbelt Builders would be happy to refer you to an architect or designer to match your brief should you wish to involve one. 

Our pricing includes all of the key elements required to build your home and we ensure the tendered sum is a realistic representation of the project cost.

Renovations, restorations & re-clads

Broadbelt Builders will price from the plans provided by the client’s designer.  If for any reason during this process we notice any gaps in the design/specifications we raise these points so the price formulated is as accurate as possible.

Once the design has been completed we then prepare a quote that includes materials, subcontractor pricing, labour, project management and overhead costs.

New Homes

Broadbelt Builders can offer fixed contract agreements on new homes with our pricing based on plans and specifications provided.  We are happy to work with our clients to help them stay within their budget.

Bathrooms & Kitchens, Hard Landscaping

The same process undertaken for renovations and new homes is applied to bathrooms, kitchens and hard landscaping whereby we offer fixed price contracts, allowing for contingency sums for certain more complex projects. 

Consulting

Our consultancy services are offered on a fixed day rate, tailored to each project on a job-by-job basis.
